Love Your Neighbor (LYN) Ministry

LYN caregivers do for someone what a friend would do

Love Your Neighbor

How does LYN (Love Your Neighbor) ministry serve our neighbors?

LYN caregivers do what someone would do for a friend. They are members of Shepherd of the Hills who volunteer to serve others by offering assistance during time of need. They assist people with services such as:

  • Meals
  • Transportation
  • Respite Care
  • Communion for those unable to attend church
  • Visits
  • Run errands (pick up groceries, prescriptions, ...)
  • Celebrate new births/adoptions
  • Lunch Bunch — This group is open to people who are in their golden years and they meet the third Wednesday of each month at church for lunch and a time to visit
communion at home
